Opening day is in two days March 29th as the Royals will battle the White Sox. Danny Duffy will have first pitch against James Shields at 3:15 first pitch.
The Royals had their game against Omaha be cancelled to rain and they will now have their roster set as Ned Yost said the squad is ready to go.
This is an exciting time for all fans of any teams as it represents a fresh start.
You can't take a huge take from opening day but I am intrigued to see the chemistry of this team that has a lot of different parts then we have been used to seeing.
The team will be in construction just like the ball park was over the off season. I think it is hard to predict
what the Royals will do but I am along for the ride.
